DailyPay is excited to announce that On Conferences has awarded our Director of Data Science, Alexey Nefedov, Ph.D., a 2021 Top 100 Data & Analytics Professional Award at the 2021 OnCon Icon Awards. The award recognizes the top data and analytics professionals and vendors around the world, based on their impact, contributions to the professional community, innovations and leadership. Once nominations and applications are reviewed and finalists are chosen by the OnCon team, winners are selected by votes from the public.
Alexey started at DailyPay in August 2019 as a Lead Data Scientist. He is currently leading the team responsible for data infrastructure, data analytics and data products used cross-functionally inside the company, as well as by DailyPay partner companies. The mission of his team is critical for the continuous development and success of our product, understanding the needs of our customers and partners, and maintaining DailyPay’s role as the leader in the on-demand payroll industry.
Alexey graduated from Moscow State University with an MS degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, and Ph.D. in Discrete Mathematics and Cybernetics. Before joining DailyPay, he worked in several companies and academic institutions, including American Express, Merck, University of Pennsylvania and University of Texas Medical Branch.
