Nearly 3 in 4 Hourly Workers Love/Like Their Job
Employees Say On-Demand Pay Is One of Their Favorite Benefits
More than half of hourly workers say they are motivated to succeed, proud of a job well done, and bring the best version of themselves to work every day in their current job.
Most hourly workers are fond of their current job, with 70% citing they like or love it, according to a recent online survey conducted by The Harris Poll, commissioned by DailyPay.
Financial Security is a Key Motivating Factor for Employees
According to new research, financial security is the driving force behind what gets most people out of bed in the morning.
The survey revealed the top motivator for hourly workers to go to work every day is getting paid (84%), followed by having a sense of purpose (54%) and having a sense of accomplishment (49%).

Survey Methodology
This survey was conducted online within the United States by The Harris Poll on behalf of DailyPay from February 5-7, 2024 among 1,078 employed U.S. adults ages 18 and older, among whom 143 are Gen Z (ages 18-27) hourly workers.
The sampling precision of Harris online polls is measured by using a Bayesian credible interval.
