Jeanniey Walden, DailyPay CIMO, Selected as Honoree in Ragan’s Top Women in Communications Awards

Each year, Ragan Communications selects exceptional professional women in the Communications field to honor with their coveted awards. This year, Jeanniey Walden, DailyPay’s Chief Innovation and Marketing Officer, was selected as an honoree in the Top Women in Communications Awards for the Trailblazer category! She joined an elite list of women who are advancing technology, inspiring their coworkers and peers and mentoring future generations of leaders. Other leaders honored were from companies such as Mastercard, Barclays, Cisco, General Electric and National Geographic.

This award honors women who are true influencers, both in their respective companies and in the communications field as a whole. These nominees and winners are all movers and shakers at companies of varying sizes across many industries, displaying excellence in leadership across the country.

Jeanniey has always been a fierce leader. Her firm but kind leadership style and open, approachable nature allow her to connect with people in a very genuine way and make her a great mentor for younger generations of women professionals. After earning her BS and MS degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, she held prominent positions at Ogilvy, Barnes and Noble, JCPenney and Zinio. Before joining the team at DailyPay, she was the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Mercer. Under her guidance, the marketing team has grown exponentially and has a full roster of highly-qualified individuals who come together to set DailyPay apart from all its competitors.

Exemplifying the title of Trailblazer, Jeanniey is never afraid to try new things, listen to unique ideas or experiment with creative methods, all of which contributed to a 300% revenue increase for the company. Media coverage of DailyPay has increased by 175% under her guidance. A true go-getter, Jeanniey has authored multiple books and launched five companies, including the Email Experience Council. She will also be the host of a new podcast, Stepping Up, which will be launching soon.

We want to celebrate Jeanniey and her impact on DailyPay, which has been immeasurable. Not only is Jeanniey a source of inspiration and direction for other women in the organization, her leadership helped elevate DailyPay to incredible heights for a start-up. She is an invaluable part of DailyPay’s leadership team and the entire company is so proud to see her honored for her tireless hard work.

Congratulations, Jeanniey!
