2026 Dailypay + Workday Study

The frontline worker

expectation gap

DailyPay and Workday surveyed 2,200 hourly U.S. workers to better understand frontline employees and how their expectations impact today’s workplace. Half of frontline workers say their company hasn’t changed in years, leaving them unsatisfied with the most important aspects of their job. The findings also revealed opportunities for companies to modernize workforce management and build the employee experience of the future.
